Sam Pimper is an insurance agent who specializes in assisting those 65 and over with making their critical Medicare decisions.

A 2015 graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s College of Journalism, Sam spent several years in the newspaper business before setting his sights on a career where he’d be able to positively impact even more people.

In a senior healthcare market entrenched with complexities, Sam helps his clients make thought-out, cost-effective decisions that won’t break the bank. Most importantly, they leave his office feeling confident that their immediate and future healthcare needs have been addressed.

Most insurance agents work with a multitude of different insurance products, but this isn’t the case with Sam. The company logo, “Your One-Stop Medicare Shop,” is quite unique but very effective for our clients.

Outside of the office, Sam enjoys fishing, golfing, and cheering on the “Big Red.” Just like Dave, Sam enjoys a good cigar, paired with an even better company.

Dave Pimper is a financial advisor with more than 35 years of experience in the financial services and insurance industries. He holds life insurance licenses and securities licenses 7, 63, 65 and 24 and received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1977.

In 1981, Dave started his insurance career before navigating into the retail investment arena in 1984. He transitioned to Calton & Associates, Inc. in 2005 in order to offer clients objective/independent advice and unbiased financial strategies without any conflicts of interest or quotas to meet.

Dave is an accomplished speaker and has facilitated over 530 public financial management workshops, educating thousands of people about the opportunities, as well as the common mistakes and pitfalls, inherent in the investment/financial arena.

His educational seminars cover a wide range of financial topics, including Social Security claiming, 401(k)/IRA rollovers, income planning, retirement planning, and more. Dave can be heard on Omaha’s KFAB every Sunday at 12 p.m. His show, Retirement Boss Radio, touches on many of the financial topics that people nearing retirement and just retired have questions about.

Dave is a Cornhusker fan and outside of the office, he enjoys exercising, playing golf, and a good cigar. He spends his time with Amy, his wife of 40 years, and enjoys working with his son, Sam, and visiting his daughter, Liz, in Chicago (When she’ll let him, of course.) Willa, the Pimper family's border terrier, thinks she is the “Queen Bee” of the Pimper household…which is correct.
